Loop ties are used to secure the reinforcing bar and mesh prior to concrete placement. The loop tie is designed to be folded in a “U” shape around the reinforcing so both loops are aligned allowing a twist tool or twitcher to quickly form the tie. The loop tie is made from the same wire as standard tie wire but features a preformed loop at each end of the wire.
